Following registration in 1993 Ms. Jo Chaplin has worked in inpatient and community settings with the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health and other specialist areas in the non-government sector. In private practice Ms. Chaplin works with adults who present with a range of issues including depression, anxiety and phobias, workplace difficulties, relationship issues, grief and loss, trauma and alcohol and other drug issues.

 

She draws from a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Using these approaches, Ms. Chaplin aims to provide her clients with a supportive, collaborative environment to help them deal with the unwanted private experiences they present with and to work towards creating a richer more meaningful life.

 

Ms. Chaplin is available for consultation on Tuesday (afternoon and evening) Thursday (morning, afternoon and evening).
